Thursday Workshop
Thursday is a workshop day offered as an additional add-on to ANWA Writers Conference attendees. Join us for an extra day of hands-on work.Critique Groups – Get feedback on your first 10 pages from customized critique groups and professional mentors (Conference Faculty or Published Author.)Following the workshop, Jessica Guernsey will teach a class on writing a first draft in 30 days and Rachel Huffmire will teach about author branding.The evening will end with a Team Trivia Night that promises laughter, learning, and a celebration of all things literary.
Enter the first 500 words of one or more of your stories into ANWA’s annual our Beginning of Book (B.O.B.) contest! Entries must be original and not previously accepted for publication or production at time of submission.
Submissions due by midnight (AZ), on Monday, July 14, 2025.

We are well acquainted with life’s ebbs and flows. For those times when your life is ebbing, we have scholarships. ANWA Scholarships are used to help cover Conference and Retreat registrations and membership dues for qualified individuals.
All proceeds from our annual ANWA Anthology go to our scholarship fund. You can optionally choose to donate along with your Conference registration.
